Despite the unease, AI might just be another technology that improves our lot. While its algorithms funnel us down our own self-serving rabbit holes of knowledge, maybe it will be smart enough to look down all of them and recognize the follies of our human history. If we can keep our grubby hands off of it, while it builds the digital neural pathways to control us completely, just maybe, it will be smarter than all of us and, contrary to our history and individual foibles, maybe decide that peaceful coexistence is worthwhile after all. A Holistic Approach for Teaching Design Technology in an Elementary Classroom

Kids play in different ways, some like to play physically others like to be quieter and playgrounds need to accommodate everyone.
   There are strategies that can be implemented to make the playground a place where everyone can do what they want without affecting others.

Quantum IQ is the Future of Education

If AI was a revolution, quantum physics and mechanics are coming to steal some of its thunder and soon. The challenges will often be unrelated to quantum physics per se, more the associated industries, engineering and software. 
   We will need people who can design quantum technologies, build them, finance them, program them, use them and explain them - skillsets that are broad and require a diverse range of education. Read more

Preparing Melbs for Climate Challenges

Monash University’s Climate Action Living Lab will involve climate and energy experts from across Melbourne teaming up with students and teachers from secondary schools in Casey to co-design climate and energy educational materials.
   The pilot project will engage young people in climate action and aims to equip them with the knowledge and practical tools to address climate change in their homes, schools and communities. Read more
