Responsibility for inappropriate behaviour from the student who undertook it, to the teacher. My many teacher friends lament the apparent lack of support from parents if behavioural matters are brought to their attention. There is no arguing that support for one’s offspring is commendable in the right circumstances, but the opposition to the mere suggestion of inappropriate behaviour is often vitriolic from the parent; as if the teacher dare suggest their child may act in any fashion other than angelically. Sexual Violence Normalised through Early Porn Use

The average age at which girls are first viewing pornography has dropped by two years since 2018, with young people now on average seeing porn for the first time at age 13.6.
   Often it is nasty stuff, replete with abuse, humiliation and physical violence. Everyone has a phone so the horse seems to have bolted when it comes to access, almost a third (31%) young people use porn as a form of sex education. Read more

Federal Funding Announced for Vaping Prevention Program

Vaping is a modern scourge. Data show one in six high school students have vaped recently, while 12-year-olds who had vaped are 29 times more likely to go on to try smoking than 12-year-olds who had not vaped.
